Ferrous Sulphate (commonly known as Green Vitriol or Hara Kasha) is the ultimate remedy for iron deficiency in plants. If your crops are looking pale, washed-out, or yellow, this is the product that helps them regain their deep, healthy green color by giving them an immediate boost of Iron and Sulphur.
Here is the standard chemical breakdown of our agriculture-grade material:
Look and Feel: Beautiful Light Green Crystals or Free-Flowing Powder
Iron Content (as Fe): 19.0% minimum
Sulphur Content (as S): 10.5% minimum
Matter Insolubles in Water: 0.5% maximum
pH (5% Solution): Highly acidic (usually between 3.0 to 4.0)
The Ultimate Green-Up Effect: Iron is the main driver behind chlorophyll production. Applying Ferrous Sulphate triggers rapid photosynthesis, turning yellowing leaves back to a lush green.
Cures Iron Chlorosis: It fixes "Iron Chlorosis" (a common issue where new leaves turn yellow or white while the veins stay green) much faster than standard soil treatments.
Bonus Sulphur Nutrition: Along with Iron, it delivers 10.5% Sulphur, which helps plants build essential proteins and improves overall crop quality.
Highly Water-Soluble: Because it dissolves completely and quickly in water, it works perfectly for fast-acting foliar sprays and drip systems.
Best Crops: Excellent for fruit orchards (citrus, apple, iron-sensitive vineyards), sugarcane, paddy, vegetables (potato, tomato), ornamental plants, and lawns/turf.
How to Apply: It is incredibly effective as a foliar spray for instant results, or it can be applied directly to the soil (ideally mixed with organic manure to prevent the iron from getting locked up in the dirt).
The Mix: Mix 5 to 10 grams of Ferrous Sulphate per 1 litre of clean water (a 0.5% to 1.0% solution).
Tip: For best results and to prevent any leaf leaf-burn, it is often mixed with a tiny amount of lime or organic chelating agents to help the plant absorb it smoothly.
Soil Correction: About 10 kg to 25 kg per acre. For the best performance, mix it into your compost or well-rotted farmyard manure (FYM) before applying it to the field. This keeps the iron active and stops it from binding to the soil.
Drip Irrigation (Fertigation): 2 to 4 kg per acre per round, applied based on the crop's specific growth stage.
Please keep in mind that these dosages are just standard, broad guidelines. Farming isn't one-size-fits-all! The exact amount your crops need can vary wildly from soil to soil, region to region, and customer to customer depending on your local water quality, soil pH (high pH/alkaline soils lock up iron very quickly), and the specific crop variety.
Test, Don't Guess: Iron requirement is highly sensitive to soil conditions. We always highly recommend getting your soil tested locally or checking with a local agricultural expert before starting a large-scale application.
Storage and Care Tips: Keep your bags tightly sealed and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Exposure to air and moisture can cause the green crystals to turn brown (oxidation), which lowers its quality. Always use plastic or clean containers for mixing.
Our Liability: Because we cannot control weather conditions, local soil chemistry, or how a customer stores and applies the product, we provide this premium-grade material but cannot guarantee final crop yields or performance. Final results are in nature's hands
